Brexit – Regulation in the UK from 1st Jan 2021

Tillsammans med ABHI, Association of British HealthTech Industries, bjuder vi in till ett kostnadsfritt webbinarium den 23 november 2020.

Språket kommer vara engelska.

The UK’s ‘EU Exit Transition Period’ officially ends at midnight (or 11pm if you are in the UK) on 31st December, meaning that four and a half years after the referendum, the UK strikes out on its own.  While negotiations on trade deals continue between Brussels and London, the UKCA Mark for devices and diagnostics will become a reality, indeed mandatory, from 1st July 2023.

Steve and Phil will detail the current timelines and understanding of what is needed to ensure the UKCA mark can be affixed to products, by answering fundamental questions such as;

  • What is meant by UK Conformity Assessment Bodies?
  • How do I register my medical technology product?
  • When will I need to comply with the new regulations?
  • Why can we not simply have Mutual Recognition between the UK and Europe?

Speakers:

Steve kvadratphil kvadrat
Stephen Lee, Director, Diagnostics Regulation
Phil Brown, Director, Regulatory and Compliance

Both from ABHI, Association of British HealthTech Industries

Steve and Phil boast over 50 years of Competent Authority and Industry knowledge, which will enable them to provide you with an unparalleled opportunity to ask your most difficult questions.
